Your San Antonio Dog Trainer

Taylor Lenburg

I know exactly what it feels like to deeply love a dog you can’t trust. Before I was a trainer, I was a foster, a shelter volunteer, and a rescuer trapping strays—but my greatest challenge was the dog in my own home.

After failed attempts with multiple trainers, I found Foundation Style Dog Training. It didn’t just change my dog, it changed the trajectory of my life. I knew I wanted to help others through the training that had helped me.

Following a two-year apprenticeship and certification through the intensive training program at K9-1 Specialized Dog Training, I served as the San Antonio trainer for Species K9 Dog Training.

In 2026, my husband Omar and I started Reality K9 to ensure no other owner has to feel hopeless.

Our purpose is to imporve the human-dog relationship through training rooted in reality.

Our goal.
