I’ve always had a passion for helping misunderstood dogs. Before I was a trainer; I was a foster, a shelter volunteer, and a rescuer trapping strays.
I became disillusioned with the dog training I was exposed to - most of it didn’t work, and the dogs weren’t happy. I developed a deep interest in behavior modification that actually worked, and found Foundation Style Dog Training.
It didn’t just change how I viewed dogs, it changed the trajectory of my life.
Following a two-year apprenticeship and certification through the intensive training program at K9-1 Specialized Dog Training, my husband and I started Reality K9 here in San Antonio.
